New To The Site!!!!

Hello! My namje is Yolanda and I am from Staten Island. I have made the decision to have lapband surgery and would like advice from everyone that reads this post. I look forward to hearing from everyone.....

JUST wanted to wlecome you to the site YOLANDA! I didnt have the lap band but know may successful people who had that surgery that attend my surgeons support meetings. GOOD LUCK on your journey and I look forward to getting to know you thru your posts.

Thank you for replying and I am looking forward to hearing from you again. I am considering the gastric bypass instead and need something more longterm. Did you have the gastric bypass?

YES YOLANDA... i had the gastric bypass surgery on JUNE 1 2005 and lost 143 lbs. I feel great. LOOK Fabulous and i am very happy. I am struggling now with my eating. but still doing okay!
