Hello, my name is B. Wilson and I am a doctoral student at Capella University in Minneapolis, MN . I am majoring in Human Services and am in the process of conducting research on self-esteem as it relates to Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery in morbidly obese Caucasian women. I need study participants who meet the following criteria:
*Caucasian woman
* Must have lived in the United States during the last 5 years, from 2001
* Pre-operative Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery OR at least 2 years post-operative Roux-en-y
Gastric bypass surgery
Due to the rising popularity of bariatric surgery, it is essential for scholars to study the surgical procedure from diverse viewpoints, including physiological, psychological, and financial aspects. Examining Roux-en-Y surgery, one of several forms of bariatric surgery, from multiple perspectives might enable scholars to define a more comprehensive picture of the effect the procedure has on an individual.
If you are interested in learning about the study or are willing to participate in the study by completing two short surveys, please contact me at [email protected]. Thank you for your time, as I appreciate any assistance.
B. WILSON
