I'm 10 days out lap RNY. Many questions. Help! Especially with diet. Everyone I talk to tellms me different ideas of what I should have or what I shouldn't but not many of those folks have had the surgery so what do they know. I hate to sound that way but folks are driving me crazy with advice. I'm 10 days out and on puree's, soups (liquids), and very soft foords that can run off of a spoon or can be mashed easily with the back of a fork. What do you guys think about that? Afterall, I don't want to mess anything up or anything. P.s. let me add that I am not having anything sugar free or with splenda or any sugar substitutes because that stuff makes me throw up. Any suggestions? Thanks in Advance.

Hello and welcome and congrats on the surgery......The best person to tell you what you should be eating at this point is your surgeon or nutrionist. Each doc has their own plan for post op. LisaMarie
