Peggy's on the other side of surgery!!!

Hi everybody! Just wanted to let you all know that I spoke with Peggy Cotrell's husband and she made it through surgery just fine. Apparantly, she went in 2.5 hours later than expected because the surgeon was running late, but all went well. I guess he had to remove some adhesions from old surgeries but she made it through with flying colors. Hopefully, I'll get to talk to her tomorrow on the phone and I'll swing by and see her on Thursday eve, so I'll update you with more stories. Hugs, Amy

Hi Amy, So glad that Peggy is doing well. I called the hospital at about 4 and they said she was still in recovery so I figured she was late getting started. I'm glad all went well and look forward to seeing her on Thursday. Have a great night!

Hello Amy, When you see her on Thursday please give her a hug from me and tell her I said congrats! I have Jared's Parent Teacher Conference on Thursday so I will not be able to be there to go visit her. Hugs... Lori

Hi again, I will surely let Peggy know that you all are in her corner. I did speak to hear yesterday and she was having a bit of a tough time with nausea/vomiting. She was fine as long as she didn't have to get up, which of course, she has to do. As she said, "I've always been a Yacker, so I wasn't surprised!" She's funny even when she feels yakky! It was post op day one, which is notoriously the worst of all. Hopefully, things will start to improve from here. I'm going out tonight to visit. So I'll let y'all know. Hugs, Amy
