Hey yourself. I am soooo baaad. I was supposed to be seen in November and I blew them off. He hasn't participated in my insurance since right after he took me on as a patient, so they have been submitting and the check comes to me and I sign it over to them ... but I think Yvonne said that after 6 months I would have to pay for the office visit out of pocket and wait for the check myself. Frankly, I don't love him enough to shell out money I don't have and hope to get it back. I know I can probably call and ask her what I should do and if they have a regular surgeon they are recommending to their GHI patients, but I ... well, I don't like them and I don't feel like dealing with them right now. BAAAAD. But I never asked him the questions I wanted to about my goal weight and the hernia repair, I figure a plastic consult will help steer me in the right direction, but I am sure that I am just avoiding the inevitable ... Hi, I had my plastic surgery at Mt. Sinai Medical Center on Madison Ave Manhattan. I went through the plastic surgery clinic. My doctor was Dr. Matthew Schulman. I had a very positive experience. Thank you so much! That sounds like a BARGAIN. I have a hernia, so my TT will be covered by insurance, but I want my boobs done too and that price seems really reasonable. I thought consults were usually free, which is why I thought I'd start now with a few different docs and see what I come up with. I have about 35 more pounds to go before I am at a weight that I think is 'goal' - it's the high end of my weight range, though. I would like a surgical opinion on how much S/HE thinks I need to lose. I would love love love to get this done before next summer, but I know that will be a lot of hard work and luck. I was not at goal. After you have surgery you will lose more weight. I didn't pay anything for my surgery because the office staff was amazing and got the surgery covered by insurance. Dr. Sterry is so nice and great at what he does.
