laparoscopy questions?
Recovery for each person is differnt. Some need more time others bounce back right away. I know in a couple of days i was out in the park with the kids,i couldnt do a whole lot with them yet but i was feeling well enough to go out and about. However at about 2-3 weeks post i started getting very very tired as my body adjusted to the lack of calories....You will prob feel good about 2-3 weeks out but give yourself time to heal. Ask your surgeon his recomendation as well. I do know people that did this during their vacations from school and the biggest complaint was being tired. Best of luck and keep us updated.

as lisamarie said were all different. We all tolerate pain different and recover differently.
FOR me i went back a few days ealier then my doctor advised. BUT my work is in the home and allowed me to take naps! I went back in 12 days. I do family daycare so it was easy for me to nap when the kids did...and i was very careful to not lift my toddlers during the recovery. BUT i was caring for my little guy felt might as well welcome his friends back just as easy!
BEST thing is to let your surgeon know your line of work and let them advise you on how long!
I was ready to go back after 2 weeks but took a month because I was allowed. I had 4 csections previously so this done lap was nothing compared to those. I had the same tired spell after a couple weeks from little calories. I had insomnia and that was my biggest reason for staying off longer.
Good luck!!
