My little mishap

We have a runner in the garage at my job which tends to bunch up periodically. Yesterday as I am talking to my techs and walking (thankfully, I was not also chewing gum), I trip over the bunched up runner and smacked the top of my head on the metal door near me, got a rug burn on my forehead and then went down right on my left knee. My techs checked to see if I was ok and then went running for my bosses. I'm sitting on the floor with my knee hurting and I started to cry. I had all these nice men hovering over (not that I was looking all that glamorous on the floor, crying). Anyway, they got me ice and made sure I was ok. I was very luck because I hit my head and knee hard. I expect a huge bruise to appear on my knee cap and on my fore head, but I'm really none the worse for wear. But after a bit, I realized that I probably would have been so much worse off with the added 120 lbs that I lost if this had happened to me last year. I would have needed a forklift to get myself off the ground, where now a helping hand from one my techs got me up. Just another great thing about the weight loss and another thing to be thankful for. Enjoy the weekend, Sue

Btw, the runner is now resting comfortably in the garbage. Sue

Hey Sue, sorry to hear about your little accident and I hope you heal quickly, and I understand what you mean, I went out the other night and I was enjoying my meal, I went to go pay and I almost tripped. Now I have not done my weight loss surgery as of yet, but the billions of things that went thru my head if I would of fallen. I would of felt like drying right there on the floor. Thanks for the word of encouragement.

Thanks for your response and good luck to you with your journey. I wish you the best, it's truly a great tool to have. Do you have an estimated date of surgery yet? Sue
