Hi Ivette Congratulations on your surgery First of all, if you had gastric bypass, be careful with the gatorade. It is high in sugar and you will dump. Any sugar free drink is okay. The more the better. Get in as much as you can. Don't worry about showing results. It'll happen faster than you think. Marie

You can use crystal light or something comparable to that. The thing that seems to quench my thirst the best and makes my pouch feel good is a SF popsicle. I would have to say that SF popsicles are my comfort food now. Best of luck and welcome to the losers bench.

GATORADE is loaded with sugar use there PROPEL!!!!!! USE all kinds of drinks crystal light, diet snapple apple, sugar free kool aide, propel and find lots of vairety, suc**** pops and of course good old water works too. I didnt have staples so cant help you with that matter!!!! I had lap surgery. As far as results we all loose differently. i started looseing right away... and lost rapidly but you will loose. SOMETIMES it takes time for your brain to catch up and see it all. GOOD LUCK relax and enjoy the journey!
