Hi Everyone! In the spirit of Thanksgiving: Besides your WLS, what is the one thing you are thankful for? I am thankful for my beautiful partner of almost 16 years. She is my strength, my sanity and my voice of reason. My life is so much more meaningful because of her. Rachelle

I am so very thankful to God for all of the wonderful blessings he has given me. I am also thankful for my Family, without them I would truly be nothing. I am so blessed to have a husband that is not only the love of my life, but also my best friend. I am also thankful to you Rachelle for starting this post! I gives us all a chance to take a good look at all of our blessings. Hugs... Lori

Happy Thanksgiving to all! I am so very thankful for my family. My husband has been a rock during my problems after my surgery and tells me how beautiful I am all the time. However, he used to tell me at my heaviest that I was beautiful, too. I am thankful to my boys who are my pride and joy. I always say that before I had kids, I dreamed of what I would have and they have far, far surpassed my dreams. I am thankful to my mother who has also been so supportive in my surgery. Every time we talk on the phone, she asks me how I'm doing and she tells me how proud she is of me. I said to her one day, but Mom, I just had surgery. And she said, but you were so brave to do that! I'm thankful to my brother and sister in law who showed me how much I am loved when I had my back surgery a few years ago. They came to my home to visit and bought bags of groceries because I was housebound while recovering and my husband got sick and was hospitalized two days after I was released. They also took my kids to the the laundromat and helped them with the laundry and chauffeured us back and forth to visit my husband in the hospital. I am thankful to my friends who have always been there for me. And believe it or not, I am thankful to my bosses who are like a 2nd family to me. When I was out with my surgery and subsequent hospitalizations, they sent flowers, never docked me and were always more concerned about my well being than what work I was missing. So I have a lot to be thankful for. Sue
