My surgery was November 16th. I feel really good, a little tired, but absolutley no pain. My question is, how do you get these protien drinks down? I have to force them down, but then I find myself running non-stop to the bathroom. Any comments, suggestions? Thanks, Anna

Anna, What ones are you drinking? I know some made me have so much gas but I really enjoy drinking the Isopure zero carb shakes and the Atkins Advantage shakes... Hoping that helps some Debra P

HEY ANNA just keep tyring samples till your find ones that work best for your systems and taste buds. MY favorite are the ready made EAS advangte Edge carb control shakes. ANY powders i find i need to add splenda, banana and make it from caloried countdown chocolate milk (formerley called carb countdown chocolate milk by HOOD) GOOD luck and welcome to the looseing side. I know for me i had a bunch of times in the potty. BUT my view was well i was only takeing in liquids it was gonna come out that form. IT eased up more when i was able to get on my first stage of pureed/soft foods. HANG in there it will get better!!!

Hi Anna, At my doctors support group lots of people recommended UNJURY. You can get it at unjury.com. I have found them really good. I like the chocolate much better than vanilla. I put it in the magic bullet with ice and a little l/f peanut butter when I want a different taste. The strawberry I was told is not so good. They have 20 grams of protein, with 8 oz skim milk it comes to 28 grams. Not so shabby! Good Luck to you.
