Hi Everyone! Long time no post!

Hi all - it has been ages since I've had a chance to post. I hope everyone is doing well. Today is my one year anniversary - woo hoo! One year ago I had gastric bypass and it was the absolute best decision I ever made in my life. I am down 150 pounds since surgery, down about 190 from my highest weight. I am so happy and healthy and bursting with joy! Without turning this post into a commercial or solicitation, let me explain why I haven't been onthe boards much. This has been an incredible year for me, not just with the weight loss, but with everything else in my life as well. I haven't had time to post because I have been spending so much time at work and in opening up a retail store. Choose2Lose, located in Hopewell Junction, NY. It has taken up so much time and effort and it has been worth every second. Working with my incredible business partner, Lisa Megna, has been a blessing and a wonderful experience. Together we have opened up a great store with everything you need before and after bariatric surgery. The support has been great and the store is doing great. The downside is that I have no time anymore! My regular job has been very busy and I have a very long commute (about 2 hours each way) and I have my husband and brother to take care of and then fitting in everything involved in getting a store up and running - whew - it's been crazy! But, things are great. I never could have done all of this if I hadn't lost the weight - I never would have had the energy or stamina required to get through it all. I want to thank everyone on this board for all of their support over the year. Posting here has helped me get through the bad times and made the good times even better. You are all a wonderful group of caring and loving people and I thank you all! I hope to have more time in the future to become part of the family again. Robin! I was just wondering about you! It's so darned good to hear from you! I am thrilled to hear all of your good news. Your store sounds amazing and if I ever pass through the area (I live in Columbia County), I will be sure to stop by. Super mega congratulations on your weight loss. What an amazing change you have been through. Big and to you for all of your successes. I have just entered ONEderland and have lost 102+ pounds so far. I feel like a new person. I am also so grateful for the opportunity to reclaim my health that I could not succeed in doing without gastric bypass surgery. I'm right on board wit' ya' girl. So great to hear your news.
