Are there "clicks" or just my imagination?

Hey everyone. I've been posting mostly on the main lap band forum. I am from New York but found the other board more active and being home ALL DAY I'm on a lot. Has any one noticed they are clickie, or is it me, am I being too sensitive?, Is the "after surgery depression kicking in? Wheather I post a new post or a response, no one seems to answer me. They also post all the names of the "new bandsters, wanna-be's, and upcoming" I have not seem my name there either. (maybe I was supposed to do something)....Just venting....Feeling sorry for myself maybe.Thanks for listening.

Well i find the place i feel most comfy on the boards here are in the NY forums and then my month of surgery forum. I just cant seem to connect in the main forums. I thought it was just me ....but perhaps its not. HANG here!!!!! I see your from the island too??? NOT to far from some of us here and one of the gals here in the NY forums does monthly meetings at her house. Were skipping this month cause of thanksgiving but i we should have one next month. ALSO the great people in the nY forum are having a holiday party to meet and im so excited to meet all of the posters there! You might want to attend! hugs lisa xoxox

Awww Lisa I feel so much better THANK YOU. I live in Holbrook, kinda central location. I would love to be more involved! I would also love to meet as many posters. I do attend my doctors support group 2nd Tuesday of each month, Would love to attend another! Take care and thanks again.

BY the way angie! I am a Dr. AHMAD patient as well! I just havent gotten to support meetings of his in a little bit. MY life is consumed by my daughters cheerleading right now and i am always running here and there for her. NO PROBLEM! its always great to have a place to vent ... far better then turing to food. I found the board helped me thru the tought moments! all the best and i pm'd u as well thru the board hugs

Angie, I have to agree with Lisa, I have been most at home in this NY board and the June surgery board (lisa's in the same month board) and I do not post that much on the main board. Also sometimes this board can get slow at times as well but mostly its the same people that post back to everyone. I guess some of people have more time to write back at different times, yeah know? I do see that some people get so busy with life that they do not find the time to post here anymore and those people are missed but what can you do. Hey I moved upstate in 2004 from Holbrook myself....My Mom is still here, off of Mollie Blvd which is off of Grundy Ave. Do you know where that is?..... Hope to hear from you more.... Debra P

Hi! No I dont think you are being too sensitive. I just think alot of people post/lurk on OH and it can be a little overwhelming to keep in touch with a lot of them. The main board seems to be have alot of people who make 'fake drama' over there for some particular reason. I find this NY board to be full of very cool supportive people. Maybe just try hanging around here to get to know some of us! I know there are quite a few lap-banders who post here too! Best wishes.

I will hang around here more. This is maybe the second time I've come here and already met you friendly gals I do know where Grundy is, both my daughters have friends over in that area. We live on the other side of the L.I.E, near St. Elizabeth Ann Seton church. Hi!!! Thanks!!! I do look alittle like devil's spawn w/the red in the eyes but what can you do. I always seem to get compliments about my smile. I get that I smile like tom cruise.(I am not sure to take that has a compliment now b/c he is creepy and weird nowadays.) But I get what they mean.
