Back from surgery!
Got back home from the hospital this past Saturday. After surgery was, of course, painful. It's routine at this hospital to put you in ICU first couple of days to make sure everythings okay. I had to be there an extra day 'cause my heart rate was a little too fast and they wanted to get my blood pressure more under control. Not to mention, when they had me try to stand to walk, I couldn't do it first try. I turned pale, got dizzy, so it was back to bed. Next day was better and I was able to walk. Long story short, 3 days in ICU equaled lots of discomfort and lots of tears and praying. Regretting it had even passed my mind, sometimes still does.
I'm not gonna lie, has been a mental struggle, as well as, physical, but I feel much better today. The staples were suppose to come out on 23rd. Thought that appoinment was strange since it's thnxgiving so I called to check. It was a mistake 'cause they will be closed that entire week, so now I have to wait until the 30th
3 weeks with staples! I don't know if this is too crazy, but I have lost about 20-22 lbs. in one week, I must be misreading something. Not sure if I am eating enough. I am on pureed stuff and I get scared to eat too much, at least at first, now I think I eat a little more.
Thank you all for the prayers and support. I love you all. Please keep me in prayer, it does help. My prayers to God have given me emotional strength at times. God bless.

Elizabeth,
Hun take a deep breath and know how you are feeling is normal, this has/will be a BIG change in your life, know that these feeling both mental and physical will get getting in time. Post here often if you have any questions, I know for me it was "why did I do this" feeling and it was upsetting me but found out that it was a normal way of feeling so that helped so much to know that!
So many changes and just have fun with this new life hun, so much learning....so many ups and downs but SOOO worth it ALL.
Glad you are feeling a little better today hun, get your rest
and keep us posted!

Welcome Home Elizabeth,
Yupper, the first week is tough, but as each day passes, it will get better and better. 22 pounds in a week aint nothin' to sneeze at either girl (although I'm sure you'd avoid sneezing at any cost at this stage)! Congrats on such a fine start. Rest, sip, rest, sip, and take little walks in between. You'll be up and running in no time at all!
