A-Fib / Tachycardia After Surgery

I have been doing some searching and have found NOTHING... Have any of you had or heard of anyone going into Atrial Fibrilation or Supraventricular Tachycardia weeks after having surgery. I have had BOTH happen.. the first time I went into A-fib at 3 weeks out then last week I went into SVT... My doctors are stumped. The surgeon says it is NOT related to surgery... My cardiologist thinks it may have been the stress from the surgery and losing weight so fast... I had full cardiac testing before surgery and was cleared. Hoping someone out there knows or has heard of this happening. Thanks... Lori

Hi lori, Have you had a CT-Scan done for them to rule out that nothing internally is making your heart react this way? Good luck!
