Good Morning Deb, Sounds like a very nice surprise for your hubby. I have had a couple weeks of bad eating choices. Its been very stressful here in my world. As I have told you before that my father has cancer, he is not doing very well, has lost about 45 pounds and still loosing and loosing all his muscle so he is very weak, luckily so far not in a lot of pain. Now to add to all this, my mother just 2 months out from her RNY, told me a few days ago that she too has cancer. Its uterine and they told her that it is in stage 1 and that they should be able to get it all with a full histerectomy (uterus, ovaries and whatever else is in there) and that hopefully she does not have to go through chemo or radiation. My mom is my rock and my best friend and my soul, God I cannot handle if I were to loose her too. She is finally feeling great with her weight loss, and all we can think is that thank God she had the gastric bypass or she never would have found out about the cancer. Meaning that the surgery caused her uterus to bleed and it kept bleeding for 3 weeks, so she went and got it checked out. It did NOT show up in her pap, luckily they also did a uterine scrape and biopsy, that is how they found it. So we are just waiting now for her to get her second opinion which is later today and when her surgery will be scheduled. I am finding myself falling into those comfort munchies. And not making such good choices for lunch at work and if we go out to eat. I am not eating really bad stuff but I could do better than I am. Anyway sorry such a long post but that is where I am at this point. Oh and there are issues going on at work too, with our pay. I am looking into booth renting a little closer to home not by much but in very new and busy development area. May be the right move for me. I have to go see the lady later this week. So pray for me to make the right decision. I love the people I work with now and have a really good clientele, but the issues are not totally resolveable at this time. So maybe if I go to the new place my clients will follow. Here is what I ate yesterday the good and the bad and the ugly. B-kinda skipped til later, had a scheduled house fire to go take pics of for my brother OH MY GOD what an amazing sight it was, froze our butts off, but worth it, then went to brunch. brunch-split with my mom egg ham mushroom and cheese omelette with a few homefries, coffee coffee and more you guessed it coffee S-doritos at moms house, a protein bar D-salad with cheese, mushrooms, onion, carrots, mix of seeds and raisins and dried cherries thrown on top dressing was the new spray vinegrette S-cajun trail mix, some of the seed trail mix and more coffee very little water lately at all, drinking major amounts of coffee which is not a stretch for me, I always did before surgery I just use splenda instead I think I also had some other munching going on here and there throuhout the day just can't remember. So that is all folks, have a lovely day.

Well, I was basically a slug yesterday. Spent the entire day on the couch. How's that for healthy living? I've just been SOOOO darn tired! Anyway, here's what my eating day looked like (when I did manage to get my butt off the couch): 1c. OJ when I first got up late B- 2 eggs OE, 1 slice oat nut bread w/ butter, 2 bites ham L (or snack... depends how you look at it) about 10 wheat thins with dip, and 20 grapes. S- roast beef (maybe 3 oz) with a very small spoonfull of instant potatoes, small spoonful of greenbean casserole, about 1/2 cup homemade gravy (but it was so good!) Supp.- 2 calcium, 1 flintstones, 1 chelated iron (I'm doing B12 shots now, so I don't need to take those nasties anymore!) Water- about 32 oz.... need to kick that up... it's much harder on the weekends for some reason. Sounds like you've got a lot to do in the next week and a half. Have fun with your company!!! Traci
