Hi Debra,
I usually do mostly lurking lately. But wanted to tell you how much I like reading this daily post. It helps me with new ideas. My last blood work shows that my calcium and iron is low, so any food suggestions to help would be appreciated.
Ok yesterday went something like this>
Tea with splenda
B one banana
L about 1/2 can of tuna fish mixed with lite mayo and some greens
S one pear and a few cubes of provolone cheese
D broiled chicken with some gravy and some mixed veggies
S watermelon, sunflower seeds, a piece of cheddar cheese
water-about 30 oz -I never realized how hard it would be to get my water in.
I know that we are supposed to wait atleast 30 minutes before and after a meal to drink, but it feels better to wait around 90 minutes or so. This makes it even harder for me!
exercise-nada
centrum chewable multivitamin and 2 tums calcium chewables

Maryellen,
I am happy that you are posting to this hun ~hugs~ I am sorry about the low calcium and Iron but I did notice that you only take 1 centrum? and tums? Well I know Tums does not offer the Calcium Citrate that we need, try looking into the Citrate that will help a lot. I take Twinlab Citrate chewables and Bariatric Advantage Citrate chews in both Choc and Cinn. I take 2 Centrum per day and maybe that will help wtih the Iron but I also have heard that eating foods rich in Iron dont help us know since we do not absorb it that way but I am not 100% sure of that. Jamie might know so JAMIE if you see this please post what you know about the Iron.
I am not sure if that helps hun but I just wanted to let ya know.

Maryellen,
On your water issue.... I too can NOT drink at the 30min mark... I usually wait an hour and then I am good to go. Just be careful that you do not end up dehydrated. You should really push yourself to get closer to the 64oz mark. I know when I am am slacking on water I get very lightheaded so I try to keep it flowing all day...
Hugs..
