Ok so i was cleaning up the kitchen yesturday and came across the sugar free oreos that i used to make the sugar free mudd pudding for halloween. Instead of just throwing them away i decided whats a few not a big deal. So i eat one ...yum then i eat two..yum and then two more...ok 4 i stopped that is plenty. Go about my cleaning and all of a sudden pains...pains.....sweating...chills.....had to lay down, was horrible. I dont think i have ever dumped before ...It was horrible for about and hour. Needless to say oreos went in the trash and i learned my lesson. I think its wonderful that a year out and my tool is still working....Wont be eating any sugar free cookies any more..... Just thought i would share. Love ya LisaMarie

LisaMarie, Yeah sometimes those sugar alcohols are worse then the sugar. I have mini packs of the s/f Joseph cookies and they seem to be ok with me now but early out they did not agree, I keep them around for that "speacial" need. I know with the little packs that if I eat the one pack (1 serving) it is good. Thanks for sharing your story hun and I know it stinks to go throug but you are right about it peeking in and saying "hey I am still here and working for you", right? Take care Debra P

I am so sorry you had that experience, but I'm so glad you posted about it! After reading your original post about using sugar free oreos, I went out and bought some to try. Haven't opened the box yet. Might just give em away! Hope you're on the mend. Thank you so much for your post! xoxo Amy

The sugar free oreos taste too sweet for me too. Its important to read the label even if it is a sugar free product. High amount of sugar alcohols can make you dump or have a laxitve effect on you

Lisa, As others have posted the sugar alcohols can really get some people. Thank god your tool is still working. I am out only 6 months and unless I eat a lot of sugar I do not dump. Sugar free cookies have been fine for me. At times I wish I had a worse restrictive diet then I do but I am still loosing and making sure that I change how I eat. Not fully there still eating carbs (also no problem with them) but I am getting better at this.
