Hi Everyone, Britt's surgery went perfectly! She went in at a little after 10am and was done by noon, according to her Hubby. I just spoke to her and she's very uncomfortable from the gas. Unfortunately the Morphine does zero for the gas pains. They already got her up and walking...she did 2 laps! So, all in all she's doing well but ithe gas pains are really intense. I'll check in tomorrow with new updates! Finally, Britt is a Loser! Hugs, -Karen

Hi Britt - It's great to hear all is well. I can't imagine all this gas pain everyone has. I guess I will find out next week Monday. I have eaten like a pig today! Tomorrow I go back to Phase I of the South Beach diet till surgery on Monday. I am on sugar overload as I speak; sooooo tired!!!! I'm thinking of you, hang in there!

Hi Bren, I don't recall having bad gas pains at all - I guess I was lucky. However...I had bad nausea. It wasn't fun, but it's behind you before you can blink! Good luck with your upcoming surgery. Hugs, -Karen

Karen - Thank you! I just came from the hospital for my check up/weigh in and to receive all this paperwork and sign here and sign here and there. I've been so scared; but all the nurses and my nutritionist were great with me today, I feel now that I am ready for Monday!
