Major WOW Moment for ME

Ok so I was going through my old boxes of things from my much younger years and came across a box that had all my old dresses in it.....My communion dress so tiny...Then my ""8th grade"" graduation dress. We had to wear long white gowns for graduation from my catholic grammar school. So I looked at it and was like ???? So I undressed, pulled it over my head and OMG it fit....My freaking 8th grade graduation dress fit me. Size 3 it says......I was running around the house in this half white now yellow looking old wrinkled dress screaming"{meanwhile my kids were laughing at me saying YUCK} however to me it was the most beautiful thing. I was 12 when i wore that dress. One year ago today i coulnt imagine feeling this way. In this box was also my wedding dress, i tried it on and it was HUGE on me....I really could fit two of me in there without a problem and still have room. I just had to share this because my kids i dont think could appreciate why i was scraming and laughing and looking in the mirror. I know you guys would appreciate how that feels.....THanks for listening. LisaMarie

LisaMarie, Congratulations on your one year Anniversary!!! I remember those days in Catholic school and all of the ceremonies...fun times and the dresses were pretty! Congratulations on the continuation of maintenance as well! Keep up the great work!!! My anniversary is Tuesday, November 7!!!! one year and 118 lbs. It fluctuates between 117 & 118 since 9-12 surgery. I'm eating again almost normally... Take care and keep finding those WOW moments... LindaM

HEY LISAMARIE! thats really too cool! SORRY im a bit out of it these days with my own life stresses...but that is an awesome thing to fit in a dress from when you were 12. ITS great and you deserve all the happiness that wow moments like that bring your way.

i think i almost cried .. hahah as funny as it was ... my 8th grade graduation dress is a size 16... and I can't WAIT to fit back in that baby!! Congrats to you hun! xoxo, Kris
