Nellie, Congrats on being on the losing side. Now get your rest and ask your surgeon what you should be eating! I know I was only on liquids for 1 day so I am not sure but asking your Dr would be the best thing! Take care and I wish you well.... Debra P

Hi Nellie, I agree with Deb; call your Doctor and/or Nutritionist. I cannot offer help because my surgeon only had us on full liquids for one day post-op. And since every Surgeon has their own procedures, call the office and follow THEIR guidelines. Good luck! Karen

CONGRATS TO YOU!!!! I am in the third week of my post op diet. During my first two weeks I personally had: 1. protein shakes - 3 a day(60 grams of protein) 2. diet snapple ice tea 3. chicken broth without the sodium. (not the best thing but I added a little no salt seasoning) 4. apple juice diluted 5. and plenty of water. It wasn't too hard because I kept busy as much as I could. My doctor suggested around 180 oz a day whi*****luded the protein shakes. Good Luck To You!!

The person to ask this question is your surgeon or nutrionist. THey should be able to provide you with a written format to follow. Ask them that is their job, make them earn the money... COngrats on your surgery.... LisaMarie
