OUCH! IBS help

Morning ya'll A couple of quick questions for you.... I am 11 days out (also had a hernia repair), and how long and I supposed to stay so sore and ideas???? any one else have problems with IBS before and after the surgery??

Bonnie, Hun you just had surgery and it will take some time before you feel back to your old self. Give it time and just rest. Congrats on having the surgery! I was out of work for about 3 weeks myself and just started to feel good around that time. I had IBS before surgery and every time I eat something I had to run to the bathroom, it was just something I was living with but for me it was corrected after the surgery. Though there are times now that I get constipated but I jus****ch it now and it is so much better. Everyone is different and no Dr can tell you how it will turn out, they just said you have to wait and see so I did and thank goodness it was all ok. I am not sure if that helps you any... Debra P

Debra, Thank you very much. Hearing your story has helped me a alot ...The whole surgery thing is definatly teaching me the patience that I lacked before hand...I know I need to slow down and take it day to day. 11 days out and 20 pounds down and counting. I wish you all the best. ~Bonnie )
