Now I'm screwed!!!!!!!!!

Sorry this is not a WLS issue. I'm having surgery this Monday in Manhattan and I planed to take the train from Beacon to grand central to get there. Well the hosp just called and said NO TRAIN after surgery and that I must ride home ina car. Dear ole mom was riding with me on the train but there is no way she can do the manhattan drive. Now I must find a way to get home, perhaps a carservice? Not sure what that will cost? This sux and now I feel like eatting crap! Damn

Hi Kenny, The situation will still be there if you pig out or not. You have worked soooo hard to get where you are now, right? So, instead, try to ask a friend or family member to do you the favor. Try checking with the hospital. I work for an ambulance service in Upstate NY and I know that there is free transportion available to people who go to some of the ED's we transport to and have no way home. Maybe they have the same thing for surgery patients. It's worth a look see. Good luck to you and I hope all works out for you. Janette
