Not even two whole days to go..
Tomorrow starts the "cleansing" then Wednessday morning I'm getting the band. The doc also plans on taking out my gall bladder. I'm being told to expect two nights in the hospital, which is not something I'm looking forward to. I need to find out how much more a private room would cost if there is even that option. At least that way my family can stay with me longer. Anyway I think I'm going to hit the sack because I don't how much longer I can resist the desire to one last binge. So far I've been pretty good. Since tomorrow starts the clean fluids pre-op routine all I have to do is make it to the morning and I will be ok.

Hi Jeff,
We have the same surgeon. I call him "the big cheese". He is a good guy and doctor and that is all I am going to say about him before I cry.
Anyway, the only rooms that are private on the floor (7 tower) are 720 and 721 and those are reserved for the people who need to be in contact isolation. My husband always stayed w/me all the time and no one cared. He would just ask for them to get a recliner (if there isnt one in the room already) and he would sleep there.
You will be fine, dont worry. GOOD LUCK and let me know if there is anything I can do to help. Take care.
