Holiday Party

Hi All, Being this is my first year on this awesome board, I was wondering if us NYers have a Holiday Party? I also read the Ontario Board (I know someone on it) and they have a big party at a hall...reasonably priced, and even have a hotel they get a group rate at for people who have to travel. It sounds like something that would be fun for us to organize in NY. Nick, Yes, I know the big distance...I just thought that maybe it had been organized before and, like Ontario, people traveled and stayed in a central area is hotels. -Karen

Karen, Good idea hun but I know from trying to get a simple get together how hard it is to get comitted people to attend. Maybe we can make it someplace and just meet for something to eat, maybe at a dinner or something. I know money is tight for most of us this time of year so maybe we can make something that will work.

Trying to get dates and times that everyone is good with it hard! Keep me posted hun.

Hey Deb, Very true...I guess it would be really difficult getting people to commit. A dinner sounds like a good idea. Any suggestions? Has the group ever met for dinner before? I don't know where to begin! !!! LOL
