Hello all I am Mickey.

I live on Long Island and currently weight 350 roughly. I set up my first appointmet with Arif Ahmad, M.D. who is located in Port Jefferson. I am completely excited. I am so excited I found this site and was able to locate a great doctor and meet some great people. Talk to you all soon. I live in Sound Beach, NY if anyone is close give me a shout:). Mickey.

Mickey, Hello there and welcome... I am upstate NY here but moved form Long Island back in early 2004. I know so many people that had Dr Ahmad, including my cousin and from what I hear he is wonderful. Nice to see a new face and post often. Debra P

Hi Mickey - My name is Linda and I also have Dr. Ahmad as my surgeon - He is the BEST and you are in very good hands. Not only is he a wonderful surgeon but he's an incredible person. His wife Seema is very special also and the office staff is there for you 100%. I don't think there is enough good that I can say about them. I live in Holbrook so I am pretty close to you. My surgery was in Sept. 2005 and I am down 134 pounds and couldn't be happier or healthier! My life has changed for the better. There is a support group meeting at Mather Hospital on Tuesday, Oct. 10th - I would love to meet you if you can make it to the meeting. It starts at 6:30.
