Shana...find out how much Umbach will charge you for follow up care. I would probably continue to see him until you're at least a year post op. you've had no issues to this point so that's a positive.

Wow that sucks you'll have to get a provider list from the insurance but I do know a lot of Dr's won't see a patient from another Dr even for follow up. Do you know how much Dr Umbach's cash pay follow up's are?

    I will be returning to the YMCA maybe this week with my OLD LADIES. I do not mind being the only young woman there, it changes every week though, sometimes there are women my age. Mostly it is older women...but I do not feel strange in the least. We are all there for the same reason, either to lose weight or maintain..or just stay healthy.  You should check it out.
