A friend of mine showed me the site and I decided to join!  My name is Dawn, 34, live in LV and am a SAHM and student.  My hubby is a teacher, and, unfortunately, our insurance doesn't cover WLS Just trying to figure pit what to do!

Most insurance will cover WLS, you may need to contact the doctors offices directly and they can help you work with your insurance co.  Good luck.

I understand how you feel...as I paid Out of Pocket for my initial surgery in Mexico back in 2004. I had the Lap Band done...cost me $8500.00 for the total procedure. I do know now, alot of doctors have financing available for patients whose insurance does not cover surgery.  I even think that Dr. Umbach here in Las Vegas has financing available, if that is a route you would be willing to go.
Dr. Umbach is a really nice guy also...I was not impressed with some of his staff...but I did really like HIM personally.
