Can you hear the crickets chirping over here?
This board has dried up!
Ok, so how are all my friends doing? I'll start:
I've been going along well...I'd been frustrated that after a phenomenal first month, I'm only losing 10-12 lbs. a month since, but I guess it all adds up. I'm just over four mos. out and down 75 lbs.
I'd been so excited about working out...I'd started walking two miles to the gym, then doing strength training, then walking the two miles back...and then whammo! Last week I started having some significant pain when I would breathe in, and then the eating issues started. Couldn't eat more than a bite or two without tremendous pain (felt like everything was getting stuck).
I suffered through the weekend (Dr. Hanna was out of town and his answering service refused to let me speak to the on call doc) and finally reached Dr. Hanna on Tuesday. I was put on clear liquids until I saw him yesterday. He's said I must have injured my pouch, so I'll be on full liquids for at least two weeks. If you thought full liquids were a rough go post op, it's hellish when you're HUNGRY. lol But at least I've not been in incredible pain, and I guess I'll have some weight loss from it. It's killing me to not exercise, but I've been so darn weak the last several days, so hopefully I'll feel like going for a good walk this weekend.
So that's what's up w/me...how are you all doing?

Hey girl! Sorry to hear you haven't been well, but I know Dr. Hanna will get you all better.
I was on vacation for 2 weeks, so I haven't posted much lately. I can sooooo relate to the slow weightloss. I've slowed down considerably, but I won't complain. 10 lbs per month is still good in my book! LOL! Besides, since being on vacation, I know I didn't get in my usual exercise and protein shakes. I'm down to a size 13/14 and some "stretchy" size 12s! I never thought I'd be this size again and still need to lose another 33 pounds to meet my goal. Can't wait to see you at the support group! See ya soon!
