Reno/Sparks Anyone?

Anyone out there in the Reno Sparks area? I'm scheduled for a conversion (lap band to gastric bypass) with Dr. Ganser on November 30th.

I live in Reno, its nice to see someone els on here from the area. Doctor Sasse was my surgeon. good luck with your surgery

My first surgery was done in Houston.  My revision was done in Reno by Dr. Ganser.   He also took out my gal bladder, and did some other surgeries for me. U are in great hands with that whole clinic.   Good luck.  I use to live in Reno, just currently moved to Fallon. But get up there to see my specialist for when I did the surgery everything went wrong. LOL  For me at least.

im new to the nevada forum and im looking for information on what qualifications you have to meet to have a revision done..my first surgery was done in Norman OK and now we are also located in fallon.  if you have any information you could pass along that would be great.  Jamie

I only was able to have the revision cause of the complications I was having.  I had 13 ulcers and no tissue left from the pouch that they had no option accept for to remove it, and to make a new penny size pouch.   So it goes esphogus to intestins straight.  I was sick all the time, had a feeding tube in the abdomin... Dr. Ganser is a massive sweet heart, and is a great dr.  He did all but 1 of my surgeries.  I had the rny done in 2006 and have lost 240+ pounds.  I lived in sparks, but moved to Fallon.  But can be reached by e-mail or facebook if you have any questions for me.  (Helen Jensen for facebook, and [email protected]  is my e-mail.
