Wow... I thought you lost all that weight AFTER the surgery. That's amazing!. One thing I dropped was Diet Pop. I was sooo addicted to it, but I realized how much sodium was in it. I still hate water, but I've been hitting the Crystal Light and I love that. Gonna start swimming soon doing aquafit in the mornings I think.

I have been pretty good with the original Vanilla one, I ice the little bit of coffee before adding protein powder. I have ordered Unjury Chicken and Unjury Unflavoured and it should come in the post this week (as well as some sample packets of their chocolate). In the instructions it says to mix the powder with cold water to disolve then add ho****er not above 130degrees. So I will let every one know how that works. I am not a sweets person so hopefully this will fill my savoury craving.

If you two can get together, I definately reccommend it. Three of us just gotback from surgery with Dr. Kelly, and it was nice to have travel companions.

MissCricket, dig into any info on Behavioural modification plans. As a part of the Weight Loss program (that clears you eventually for surgery), as I am sure you know, tells you that if you are an emotional eater you have to have a behavioural modification plan written and put into effect by the time you have your one on one with the team. Reasearching this and putting it into effect really helped me in keeping on track since seeing Dr Ellsmere in Feb. Doing what the program outlines and sticking with the program is why I lost the 131 pounds since feb 25th. Basically same amount of weight a person can lose with WLS eh? If I can do it YOU CAN TOO!!
Start taking pics... take them along your journey... all of them will help be reminders and modivation when in stalls and feeling you cant do it. you will have them... we all do. It's a lot of hard work reprogamming our brains and training ourself to be healthy... alot of bad habits to change and replace with good ones. YOU CAN DO IT Miss Cricket!!
The changes I have experience in the last 6 1/2 months are unreal. There was always that fear that once I lose my weight I would regain it back... I know it isn't going to happen this time... not with the work I have done... wiithin me. Something I never did when losing weight before. Sure I still struggle especially with the memories of how food use to "feel" and taste. but nothing tastes as good as being thin feels...nothing!!!
Work on you MissCricket.... get your head set on you...start changing those behaviours... that weight required will drop off you and then you get your sleeve to help you even further you will be rockin!!

Protein breaks down under heat, so not really good to bake with it etc..
If you come to the city there is Popeye's on Robie street near Quinpool near subway, or on Main Street Dartmouth just between Ronnie's on your left and McDonalds on your right *It is on your left*
I have yet to try any from there other then the strawberry kiwi juice and it is ok, it will do until it is gone.
