I will! I stocked up on Whey Isolate at Costco last week (it was on sale) so I'm gonna start having a protein shake in the morning to get my butt goin', and when my pool opens back up I'll be back at Aqua-fit. I lost 4 lbs. so far just by quitting DIET pop.

no, i haven't had surgery yet. I seen Dr Ellsmere feb25th for my hernia, and he said he was going to give me wls to get to 250... put me into the wlp etc... well it takes a bit to get into their scheduled program.... i have gone to their info session but my one on one is not til november. I made a committment to change my lifesyle for life... in reading the wlp info etc and doing it and their program... my weigh keeps coming off.
changing ones habits is alot of hard work after having them for 48 years. I realize having wls is only a tool which helps... the hard work is with me... so I guess I am working on what I can while I wait.

Good to hear you are finally getting your fluids in. I can only imagine it being very frustrating not being able to drink like before.... and feeling like you are not getting anywhere. Your sips are amounting to something CaperGal...keep at it!! before long this all will be a distant memory with much reward ;)

Hey I was over to talk to your neice today to tell her to tell ya how great I looked hahah from just having surgery that was. Told her to tell you I was out enjoying the beautiful weather today and walking and that you have nothing to worry about and it will be a breeze.

Well I just went to get some of the gatarade that is on sale for $1, well superstore has lots on sale for $1 holy crap my daughter is having a field day. Wish I had more money lol or another freezer. I joked with the cashier saying how they going to get us to fill our freezers full of this stuff this week then meat will go on sale next week when we have no room left in our freezers, he just laughed and said most likely.

I sure hope you are able to find some people to go with, remember I don't think many in Nova Scotia really know of this surgery. My mom said to me when I got home that she didn't know I was having my stomach cut out, like duh. She worked in health care and doesn't know what a gastrectomy is?
