Hang in there!! Try and focus on other things to keep you occupied and let the time pass by quickly. I am so excited for all you ladies that are starting to get callbacks and are so much closer to the sessions and surgery dates!!! Life will be so much better indeed! It's not a cure, it doesn't instantly bring happiness, but it gives you a chance to live life to the fullest and find that happiness within yourself.
Luckily I never had sleep apnea and don't know much about the testing, etc. But I do know those who need it say it has greatly helped. Good luck!

Topic: Totally OT question from an Ontario gal
Hi there Nova Scotians: I am planning on taking my mom to Halifax in June and was wondering if any of you can comment on whether the Cambridge Suites Hotel is nice/clean, etc? Would you recommend it? I was also looking into the Prince George or possibly the Haliburton (I generally prefer boutique hotels when I travel on my own, but think the Halburton could be small for 2 persons in same room)....
Your comments and input would be most appreciated!
Thanks,
Joy

Hello I had the worst sleep ever with that monitor. I sleep on my belly so it was very uncomforable. i won't know the results for a couple of weeks. I hear there is an info session in May and I think there is usually two a year. Let's keep our fingers crossed we will all hear soon!

That sounds about the same as over eating the vbg pouch. At least I'm already trained in that area for my volume.
I've read through the other vsg forums, but it's mixed stories for viruses.
The best part is you said things don't get stuck!!

Try adding more protein powder to your smoothie as the protein will help keep the hunger at bay. I used ot add it to my boost both before surgery and after.

Hang in there everybody. It is worth it all. I can now sit in a airplane and not need a seatbelt extender, can cross my legs (though the nuns always said ladies did not do this), and can walk for an hour without sitting down. Life is so much better now even though I still have a long ways to go.

Hi Coreena,
I have not had a stomach virus so I can't say what happens there. There have been a couple of times where I have eaten too much and gotten sick. But usually it is only enough to take away the over full feeling and then it settles down. Things don't get stuck though.
