I agree with Ang, you should let the clinic know.
My husband also has a C-Pap and we don't go anywhere overnight without it.  It has changed his life and mine.  You will find a difference in your life too once you get use to it. Good luck.

You should let the obesity clinic know about the apnea.  I've had it for a few years now - it started out as severe (stopped breathing once/minute) and now I can actually sleep without the freaking machine if I have to - I still use it because I still get headaches if I don't, but I'm hoping some day to be off it altogether!  Don't get me wrong, the c-pap was a blessing when I needed it - I couldn't sleep without it!  But now I would just like to be done with the last of my co-morbs...  My husband also has sleep apnea & uses a c-pap - he loves his.  If you have anything you want to know, just ask  :)

Thanks guys!  I feel so much better these days  :)  Jeff is doing great too - he only has another 15 or 20lbs to go to be to goal.  I still am sure to get in at least 60 grams of protein a day - it's not that great of a challenge anymore because I always have a premier protein shake for breakfast (because it's easy & I like it but I probably could get the protein in without that) for lunch I usually have whatever leftovers we had from supper - so say some chicken & sweet potato and then meat and veggie for supper and then if I'm hungry in the evening I will have more leftovers from supper but i still can only eat 2 or 3 oz of meat and a few bites of veggies - though it is more some days & less some days...  I do sometimes drink alcohol - it is very high in calories so I take it into consideration with my calorie count & up the workouts too - they did stress no booze, and I didn't for a long time.  I find that it stays in your system longer time so you have to be careful not to drink too much  :))

any other ??  just lmk  :))

Topic: Sleep Apnea
Hello,  I saw my physician yesterday and my test shows severe sleep apnea.Any advice on this would be great. I go on the 26th to get the machine for a month trial. Also should I inform the obesity clinic of my new co-morb.? Thanks.

that is so great. You are an inspiration to all of us. Now show us some more new pictures. How is Jeff doing? What are you eating and drinking these days? Do you drink alcohol? I remember them stressing no alcohol. Anyways keep up the great work.
