Preop done/liquids started

Good day!

I was in today for my preop and I think that everything went well. My surgery is booked for next Tuesday so I have started my liquid diet as well.

I am very excited and still not really nervous. Even my blood pressure was good while I was there this morning. Looking forward to having the surgery behind me. I am really hoping that it won't be too hot in the hospital! It was warm and sticky in there today. I am going to pack my fan to take and hope for the best

When i had my surgery in January they stuck me in the hottest room in the hospital :-( I swear it was 150 degrees in there! So hopefully its cooled down by now.lol

what do you wanna be when you grow up little girl? i wanna be a loser and sit on the bench sir! (45 lbs lost pre op) 300lbs starting weight, currently 141lbs! Lowest has been 135lbs and hoping to get back to that.

Oh Kitty! I really hope that it is not that hot in there! It was hot and sticky during preop, but everywhere I went there were fans on which seemed to help. I will definitely make sure that I have my own fan in my bag! If it was that hot in January I worry about it in July. Perhaps they keep it really hot in the winter for all the "little" people with no insulation of their own

right now I have lots of insulation but I'm thinking that will soon be changing

I mind the heat too cause i have roscea! But of course i find it more chilly now than being hot so thats a good thing. But yeah the nurses told me it was the hottest room in the hospital and i was like AND YOU PUT ME IN HERE? lol Even the little older lady across me found it hot! So yes bring a fan, its a must! haha
