Went great! I will have my surgery anywheres between January 6th-13th. They will let me know more after Christmas is over for a definate date. Must say Dr Ellesmere seems like a great guy with a good sense of humour. He asked if i had any questions and really i told him from researching since i found out about VSG and talking to people in Nova Scotia and other places that have had it done i dont. He said so what did they say about me? I said they said you were a great man! He said ohhhhh you are good. I said what i am not sucking up good enough? lol Anyways just wanted to share that i am approved for surgery by the surgeon too, was very happy!

what do you wanna be when you grow up little girl? i wanna be a loser and sit on the bench sir! (45 lbs lost pre op) 300lbs starting weight, currently 141lbs! Lowest has been 135lbs and hoping to get back to that.

I just had a referral put through to Dr Ellsmere yesterday from my family doctor. How long is the process between getting the refferal to actually having the consultation with him? I was told up to 5 years! :(
