Yes, the liquid is a pain in the butt, but you can do it!!!  :)))  You have about a week & a half to go so that's not too bad...  My advice - make sure you're full when you go to Thanksgiving dinner - well leave a little room for some boost, or milk or something that you can sip on during dinner, but I found if I wasn't hungry I wasn't as tempted to cheat.  I remember being so hungry the first couple of days but around the 2nd or 3rd day it got much better  :)  Sorry you won't make it to the support group meeting this time  :(

I'm so excited for you!!

If your surgery is Oct 19, you will be ready to have some Christmas dinner.  4 weeks of liquid, 4 weeks of soft.  Just chew it A LOT!  No corn or peas.

SERIOUSLY? You went for your surgical appointment on the 8th and you are slated for the 19th? Holy FAST, Batman!!!

My surgical consult is Wednesday (13) does that mean I am likely to be scheduled before the end of October?

Congrats to you!! I'll be thinking about you over the next few weeks. I've been on the fluids for this past week - so I hear yah, sistah ... dinner is gonna be a little tough for me, too.

Yes ... I realized that after I had commented.

I guess I'll find out for sure tomorrow. :)

Thganks ladies!

Hope you had a super weekend - I know I did.
