Question RE Dr.Valis vs Dr.Ellsmere

Hi All,

I find that on the boards I hear Dr.Ellsmere's name  more.But  do they both do the VSG?

The only surgery being done in Halifax right now is VSG.  
 

i know that the only surgery being done is VSG but I was wondering if Dr.Valis does surgery or is it Dr.ellsmere only?

I noticed Dr.Valis name on the CDHA webpage under the WLS section.

ahhh, I think maybe Dr. Vallis is the psychologist on the WLS team. 
I thought there was another surgeon on the team but I am not sure what his name is.

When we were there in March there was a woman doctor as part of the team. I can't remember her name though.

Dr Vallis is the phsycologist. The two surgeons who do the surg are Klassen and Ellsmere. Currently only Dr Ellsmere is doing the surgeries. The only women on the team are Diana Lawlor the NP and the dietician was Janet but she has left and there is a new one replacing her...there was also a female resident working with Dr Vallis.
