Has anyone been able to get the 'sample packs' of protein powders & drinks that I read about the Americans being able to get?  We have a GNC in Truro but they have no sample packs & I would really rather not buy a bunch of big containers.  The first tub of protein powder I got was President's Choice Vanilla & it is SO gross!!   Anyway, I am heading to Halifax tomorrow and I thought I would see if anyone has any suggestions?  Thanks!  Angie

I haven't seen the protein packs.
I
Walmart has smaller tubs.  Pure Protein brand I think.

Right now I am using an unflavoured that I got at Costco.  I use half a scoop of that with a carnation instant breakfast for 32 grams of protein.
The shake I really liked before surgery, I couldn't stomach afterwards.

I have not seen sample packs. But I liked the unflavoured from GNC best, but it is a big container. I am using high protein boost now. I saw Diana and the team March 21 but am still waiting for my appointment with Dr Ellesmere. Somehow it got all mixed up. Frustrating to say the least. Diana said I should be hearing by the end of the week. So I am back on liquid for a few days just to continue to work on the loss.  I liked the idea of adding powder to carnationb instant breakfast. I might try that. Hang in there Angie.  Debbie

I just got the unflavoured protein from GNC today - haven't tried it yet though.  I think I will try adding the protein powder to the instant breakfast too - sounds like a good idea.  I read on the recipe forum that you can add cherry crystal light to the chocolate protein powder & it tasts like black forrest cake - ha!  We'll see!  lol  Also I'm going to try adding a tsp of splenda and a tsp of instant coffee to the chocolate protein powder & see how that turns out...
