I DID IT ....... I DID IT ! WHOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO
I broke my stalllllllll - omg I can still lose weight I thought it was all over and the fat lady (me) had sung!
I was so frustrated - beyond frustrated - such a foul mood each week not budging from 147 lbs jus****ching 1 or 2 lbs go on and 1 or 2 come back off -but I must still have some tricks up my sleeve or the scale fairy came for a visit!
Thanks Isla- for sending me the fairy- so nice of you to pay it forward!
I got on the scale this morning fulling expecting to give it the finger and say some not so nice words but it showed 3lbs down - it hasnt moved in forever and I couldnt believe it - got on and off - on and off and it was true- the stall had been broken!
I rewarded myself by going for a walk for over an hour down on the waterfront in Halifax and then later along one of our amazing Lakes and then to gap and old navy to buy some shorts - size 8!
I never wore a size 8 all of highschool the lowest I was would I think been a 11/12!!
So maybe Junior High I was an 8 - for a brief moment - but I sure as heck remember that this time last year I was sporting my 24/26/28 pants depending on style and fit - and wearing 5x to "hide" the stomach!
Ok that is all just very excited and have been out all day and then shopping tonight - justhad to share!
Ok wait for it ...... this will be the first time I actually type these words - I have said I am glad I had surgery - I have said I am getting the groove of this tool - my surgery has worked but I have not yet ever said ........ wait for it
I LOVE MY RNY !!!
So being that next week will be one year out for me I am pretty pumped and realize even with complications and a really rough first 4/5 months - I do love my RNY! This was the best choice for me personally.
thanks guys for all the support you give this Maritime "bluenoser" gal - it means a lot !
Yippppeeeeee the scale moved !
Only 19lbs left til goal - 19 is my lucky number so I am now motivated to work my butt off (literally) and reach my personal goal of 125lbs !

Yup human we are! lol
Thanks for your support Balla!
The ups and downs are all part of it and make success that much sweeter I guess- if we didnt have to work so darn hard then I guess it wouldnt be so rewarding !
As anyone that has had WLS can say - IT IS NOT THE EASY WAY OUT!!!
LOL - contrary to popular belief easy and WLS do not go together in the same sentence in my experience!

Thanks Christine
Congrats on your goal and maintenance - I have learned a lot from your journey and you were always there to answer my questions- I really do appreciate it so much!
I am sure my goal is a work in progress - just hard to figure out where the loss stops and then maintenance and for me - plastics lots of nipping and tucking will be required.
hugs
