Info session was awesome

Just getting back from the Halifax info. session and it was awesome. So much information, so little time, so many questions, so little time.....met Suzanne T, awesome.....I am just so pumped to start on my journey. There were 50 people there, along with people's support person. We met most of the team and one lady who had surgery last March and has lost over 100 lbs so far. She looks great and had lots of positive feedback for us. So we have some homework to do before our next meeting.  We were told that whoever was picked, would be done within the year. The time line is absolutely wonderful. This will be a great year, I can feel it. And, Suzanne, you are just a sweetie. Cheers everyone. Sugarbear

hi there, I am jsut wondering how one get to go to these sessions. My doctor has sent a referral and all I got back from it was that I was sent to triage.. whatever the heck that means ??!! 

Hi Leaden, if your referral was sent to triage, then I can only assume that Dianna Lawlor recieved the referral. She is the nurse practitioner who book all the appointments. Be patient, you will hear from them. They seem very organized and expedient.  I was referred in September and heard from them in October for an invite to the information session. I wasn't available in October so I attended the info. session in February. I think the next one is in April? I was on Dr. MacDonald's list for 5 years though. Hang in there......Regards, Sugarbear
