Nova Scotia WLS support group.

Hi, There are now about 12 people interested in forming a support group in the Halifax/Nova Scotia region which is great. I have met with about half of them individually and all are wonderful, friendly people. We have one male interested. We intend to meet monthly; have a clothing swap; discuss food and eating issues and any other related problems and also to share in victories, surgical or NSV (non-surgical victories). On Dec 1 we are having a pot luck lunch (bring your own) at my place to kick start the group. Anyone else who is interested can contact me for information re the same. If the group continues to grow then we will need to get a room somewhere, maybe in a local hospital. 44 Days to Christmas so hope everyone is starting to plan their individual menus and not go the whole hog and pig out over the festive season. Its so much easier when you are prepared. My husband and I have no family here so are going to Las Vegas for Christmas so no big turkey dinner or candy stuff around will be a big help.
