Been Approved from NS-MSI

I have been approved from NS-MSI for the Gastric Bypass Surgery now the wait for Dr. Beausoleil. I phoned Dr. B. and they said he is not doing any consultations till his list goes down so the wait is AT LEAST 2 yrs. I already knew that going into this so I'm ok with the wait for I have to be I guess eh; just hope it is no longer than 2 yrs Just wi**** was tomorrow!!!

How did you do it? They say NO when I call and they don't even know the particulars. Will MSI let you get it done in another province?

Hi OH friend I live in NS and MSI did fund this type of surgery which will be done in NB; I believe they won't fund it if done in NS. If you live in NS get your physician to send a letter to MSI and go for the surgery in NB if that is an option for you. WARNING: the Dr. waiting list is longggggg. Up to 6 yrs for some surgeries.
