Topic: RE: Drs Lara and Acosta in El Paso
I had my surgery with Dr. Lara last month. He is to the point, I felt a little rushed with him at times. He has a great staff and I am happy overall with him. The only thing that I can complain about is the night shift at Del Sol, they have a CNA that may need a little more training.

You can also check with Las Palmas Medical Center, El Paso, TX.  Call Trish at 915-521-2151. She will get you setup. They are wonderful and friendly, very supportive. I just had my lapband surgery with Dr Jorge Acosta two weeks ago.  My followup is this coming Wednesday.

Help me Lord Jesus to trust in you with all my heart, not leaning on my own understanding.......

I've been on here for a long time. My sister had a RNY 6 years ago and I've been thinking about WLS for several years. Today I just got the call that I have a date of March 9th!!! I'm so excited and want to thank you all  for your help. Thank you so much Kathrine for helping me and pointing me in the right direction.

Topic: Coming to Las Cruces
Hi
I am 4 weeks pre-op and moving to Las Cruces at the end of June (my husband will be there before I am).  Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows of a bariatric surgeon with whom I can follow up.  I'm trying to get my ducks in a row before the surgery.

Also, are there any support groups in Las Cruces?
