I have just received my approval on Wednesday. I have an appointment with Dr. Lara on May 28. The receptionist said it was going to be a four hour appt. Can you please tell me what exactly goes on in these four hours? This will be my first meeting with the surgeon. I'm too impatient to wait and find out for my self. Thanks....

Dr. Lara and his staff are great. My surgery was at Las Palmas - no problems at all! The experience was great. PM me if you want any further info. Good luck with your surgery - I'm sure it will be fine!

lapband in 2008 at 298lbs , lowest weight was 183lbs , Band almost killed me and removed in 2011. No revison because to much damage for revision.

Yes. The support group is open to all types of WLS. It really is a good meeting! Actually, there is a meeting tonight! :o)

Is the support group meeting open to all types of WLS? (I have had the Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy). Thanks in advance for the info.
