Topic: Appeals Proces
Appeals Process
As some of you know I am at the last step of my appeals process. I sent my paperwork to the Federal Government and I show they recieved it on 14 July 2004 at 11:10 AM. Well I called yesterday and the person that answered the phone must have been an old federal employee....he would not help what so ever. I finally told him since there is no one there that can help me, who can? He gave me a name and said that she would be in tomorrow. Today I called and spoke with the person that he told me to. She, at least was much more helpful. She told me that she could not find my paperwork but would go to the mail room and find out what the hold up is. I gave her my number and she said she will call me back. This is real irritating. I told the lady that I am supposed to receive a letter from them within 5 days of them receiving my paperwork. Even though they received it on the 14th, I guess they will say they did not receive it till whenever they get to it. They need to get busy, I do not want to wait any longer than I have to, I started this in October 2003. Anyways, this is just a vent, I feel better now.

Cindy, this is Richard from Rio Rancho, we have a support group meeting this Wednesday at 7 PM at UNMH 2nd floor at the back of the dining hall...Hope we can see you there. We also have a yahoo support group on yahoo, go to yahoo and go to groups and in the search type ABQNBB, add yourself to this group and you will be plugged into the Albuquerque group...hope to see you at the meeting Wedneday..

Hi Cindy , I live in Bernalillo, and had my surgery at Mayo in Scottsdale on 04/22/04. I also had Roux-N-Y. I have lost 54 #s since surgery. I also go to the Defined fitness water areobics in Rio Rancho at 5:00pm. I started 2 weeks out from surgery.

Hi,
I'm Cindy. I live in Rio Rancho and had Roux-Y Bypass Surgery this past Tuesday at St. Luke's in Phoenix. My roommate in the hospital gave me this web site and suggested I look for a support group, etc. in the Albuquerque area.
Anyone have information for me?
