I just want to thank everyone for your prayers, support, and words of encouragement.
I'm APPROVED!!! I submitted a Formal letter of appeal with CC to all my physicians. I got a letter Friday, saying that they would make a determination within the next 20 working days. Today I got a call saying it has been approved!
Soooooooo to everyone else who is going thru this same process...don't give up!!
Thanks again, and please continue the prayers as the journey continues...

I just wanted to say good luck to you all having surgery soon and those who have had it I hope you have a wonderful journey like I have these past 33 months, I have lost 450 pounds and got my life back and Everything is possible with the help of this tool that the surgeons have given us. Take care everyone and I'm always here if ever needed.

Awesome loss Matt! I can only hope to do so well at my 6 month mark. Hey, I notice that you are in Farmington too, do you attend the support group meetings here? I plan on attending the next one Aug. 10 since I had my surgery in Mexico I only have ObesityHelp.com as my support right now...mind you I'm not complaining ...it is a great site with great people here! Anyway...Congrats on that wonderful weight loss!

Matt hadn't heard from you in awhile glad to hear you are doing good I am about as post op as you and have lost just a little more that you. Dr Blackstone is coming back to Albuquerque on 8/20 for a support group and seminar. Keep in touch.

Matt, that is awesome, I know you must feel 1000% better. I am at the last step of my appeals process and hopefully will be approved with Dr Blackstone soon.

I've now eclipsed the century mark and have lost 12 more pounds this month. Total for 6 months since surgery is 102 lbs. This has been a life saving operation for me...Thanks to all who have helped...
