Hi Hat! Yes I do attend the support group meetings! I enjoy them. It is an open discussion group and very informative as there are others that attend that have had the surgery longer than I have. They meet twice a month and I try to attend at least one of those times. It's a great way to talk to others that have had it if you are thinking about having the surgery. If you have more questions please don't hesitate to ask! Take Care, Tracy

Hi. I was reading through old messages and saw this one. Did you ever go to a support meeting? If you did...How did you like it? Was there a speaker or was it simply open discussion? Hat July Baby 256/174/150

Topic: Hi
We are moving back to NM from Washington state. I had surgery on July 27 and am down 82 pounds. I just wanted to check in and see how busy the NM board is. I hope to connect with a support group in the Farmington area since I have had some postop issues and will need to know the name of a surgeon in case I need one. We will be without insurance after the move. So, I pray I won't need one because I don't know how I will pay for it. But, better to be safe than sorry. Hat
