Hey Richard Have to go to Phoenix for my 1 year check up, it just flew by and the lbs just fell off. Will miss this weeks meeting but plan to make the next one. Hope everyone had a good holiday. Yvonne C.

Hi Martina, Congratulations on reaching your goal!!! Isn't it amazing? I am 4 months from my original surgery and down 68 pounds! I had to have 2 more surgeries because of infection, and I'm still on a wound vac to help the healing. The by-pass went well, and I'm doing really good, just the 'non-healing surgical wound' has been the problem. I have not been able to go back to work since my surgery on Aug 9.....I sure hope that the next few weeks will see the wound completely heal and I can be released to work...........AND exercise. I've hit a big plateau the last few weeks, and I'm sure it is because I can not work out like I"d like to. I had some 'female surgery' this week...and I'm doing good with it. I KNOW I'm going to feel so good when I get the wound vac taken off!!! This New Mexico Board is so very slow.......I'm so glad to see you post.... Happy New Year --- Prospero Ano Nuevo Everyone! I have been just down right lazy and haven't posted for a long time, I apologize and hope to post more often, I am doing great and have reached the weight goal of 160 pounds. I am 7 mnths out from surgery. I began this journey at 287 pounds on July of 2003. I cannot express my delight and happiness I feel today. My hopes are to start tightening up the loose skin ((hahahaha) I joined Curves and am I surprised I can even move around and do the exercises. I am amazed my body cooperates. I will try and be at the next meeting I sure miss going and with my Mom so sick it's been hard. Well, hello to all and I hope everyone had a Blessed Holiday.
