Topic: PHILLY SWIRL IN USA TODAY
The SF Philly Swirl pops are ONLY available at Sam's club. Sam's Club is doing a "Trial run" on there Sugar Free pops and there is only 4 weeks left. Run out, grab a few boxes to stock up and talk to the manager at the store to keep this product around. Better yet, maybe we can all write Sam's Club Corp and let them know us Bariatric patients NEED this great product around. I hope this product doesn't go away!!! http://www.samsclub.com/eclub/main_std_template.jsp?CntId=2005superpage&pid=_01-26-05_super Free one day pass to Sam's club! Incase you don't have a membership Look what I stumbled upon!!! This article was in the USA TODAY about Philly Swirl!! Very cool http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/food/2004-08-20-phillyswirl_x.htm ~Lauri B

We are moving to Farmington in a couple of weeks. I see that you had your WLS in AZ. Were you living in AZ or did you travel for the surgery? Is your plastic surgeon in the Albuquerque area or are you going to have to travel for that too? And, just one last question, did you have a choice of plastic surgeons or just one that would accept Tricare? Thanks for the help, Hat

Hi Tia, I'm on TriCare and just starting the journey for PS - to be exact a tummy tuck and boob lift are what my doctor is suggesting. TriCare has been very good about everything and I don't expect large problems with them over this. I will let you know as things progress. Right now my PCP has referred me to an Orthopedic doctor for my back pain and that doctor has said he will refer me to a PS once he sees the results of my bone scan and lab work that show I don't have arthritis or cancer as the cause of the pain. He has had two other by-pass patients who he referred to PS and have done very well. Hope this helps. When are you moving to Albuquerque? Cindy

We have a couple of people in the Albuquerque support group that have Tri care, you could ask this on our website and might be able to get an answer. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/ABQNBB/

I hear they will cover for different Dr.'s depending how far they are. I don't know what PS is. But I know they cover Gastric Bypass surgery.
