I have been waivering back and forth with this for some time and I have finally decided that this is defintietly what I want to do but my current pcp is just MEAN and is really nothing more than a judgmental old bad who has been no help at all when I mention this to her, she has more fun berating me for getting to this point. Would love to meet you, I went to a couple of meetings in Albuq last year, but did not go to anymore. I lost my husband last October also very suddenly and will not drive myself to Albuq. I live in Santa Fe and I am fearful of driving by myself so far. When you get your cabin number let me know and I will look you up, I have not received my documents yet. I have the Lovelace Health Plan, as an employee of lovelace... they stoped coverage of this proceedure beginning of the year. They will only let me go to one surgeon (maybe) , in Texas. However as a benifit that is not in my plan, I doubt it is going to be a fight I can win. I will keep fighting, because I want to have children with my wife, I want to live a good healthy life with her, I want this as much for her as for me... I appealed and they said NO... but gave me hope in that I need to gather more information and agree to the one doctor they cover... I am not as excited about that because that surgeon told me I was a canadate for the lap-band only. I respect his decision, but want a second opinion...
